Dr Libby Curtis
Heart Failure, Cardiac Devices and Cardiac Imaging Specialist

Libby Curtis is a cardiologist specializing in heart failure management, cardiac imaging, and device management based in Hawkes Bay working at the Hawkes Bay Hospital. She completed her cardiology training in Auckland, including advanced fellowships in heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and device management. Internationally, she gained expertise in echocardiography and interventional imaging during a fellowship in Rennes, France, under Professor Erwan Donal and supported by the Heart Foundation Benjamin Grant.

Dr. Curtis is a published researcher with a focus on advanced imaging techniques and cardiac sarcoidosis and has presented her work at major global conferences. A passionate educator, she has held teaching roles at the University of Auckland and continues to mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals.
